Woman in custody after making threats toward students on Facebook Live: Rockingham Co. Superintendent

MAYODAN, N.C. — A woman is in custody after the Rockingham County Schools Superintendent said she was making nonspecific threats of violence toward students at Dalton McMichael High School.

The woman was doing a Facebook Live near the school, making these threats, according to Superintendent John Stover.

Rockingham County Schools (RCS) said she entered the campus parking lot and stayed for about 15 minutes. She did not interact with students or try to enter any buildings, according to RCS…
