GREENSBORO, N.C. — With the debut of the new iPhone, a lot of us are looking at our own phones and our cell plans to see if there’s something better out there. Within the last couple of months, both Consumer Reports and Tom’s Guide rated cell phone providers.
Consumer Reports surveyed its readers, and US Mobile came out on top. T-Mobile had the best ratings of the big providers; AT&T came in last. In Tom’s Guide, T-Mobile was rated the best phone carrier for 5G service and perks, Verizon the best overall, with flexibility and mix-and-match plans being a selling point. The best value went to Mint Mobile.
