GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — You have probably seen places where people who have intellectual disabilities can thrive, but have you seen one where they do it mixed with people who don’t have those challenges?
Probably not because the one being put together right now in Guilford County is one of very few.
“We found one place in California, so we’ve traveled across the country … Seen quite a few places, and we have not found a place yet that’s doing true integrated housing.
