TYKOCIN, POLAND (WGHP) — About two hours northeast of Warsaw, Poland, sits the small, picturesque community of Tykocin.
“There are no Jews left here today, but at the beginning of the war, there were about 2,000 Jews,” said Fred Guttman, a retired Greensboro Rabbi.
The town’s historic synagogue dates back to the 1600s and is now a museum that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
