The Sept. 15–21 Triangle Crime Report highlights some of the region’s most alarming cases, spanning gun violence, drug trafficking, embezzlement, and a $200K copper theft at a Johnston County solar farm.

ALAMANCE COUNTY

Five Injured in Alamance County Party Shooting

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office reports that five people were shot during a party with more than 200 attendees on Florence Road near Green Level early Saturday (Sept. 20). The victims — a 15-year-old boy, 16-year-old girl, 19-year-old man, 22-year-old man, and 35-year-old man — suffered non-life-threatening injuries, with one still hospitalized. Officials say witnesses and victims have refused to cooperate with the investigation.

DURHAM COUNTY

Two Shot in Car on Larchwood Drive

Durham police are investigating after a man and woman were found shot inside a vehicle in the 1000 block of Larchwood Drive on Sept. 16. The man suffered life-threatening injuries, while the woman’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening. The case remains under investigation…
