Showers and a few thunderstorms are forecast late this morning and again this evening. In between, we are expecting a lull in activity on the radar between lunchtime and the afternoon commute. Highs will be around 83 degrees and the chance of rain is 80%. We have a Level 1/Marginal Risk of severe weather, allowing for isolated storms that may trigger a warning due to gusty winds.
Early showers and a few thunderstorms are ahead for the evening as a cold front begins to cross the Appalachian mountains. We will have cloudy skies through daybreak, with lows in the upper 60s.
