GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Triad dental facility connected to the tragic death of a 2-year-old boy remains under state scrutiny as it awaits a follow-up inspection from health officials.

The Valleygate Dental Surgery Center in Greensboro was forced to close several new procedure rooms after inspectors identified multiple deficiencies.

Facility Says Corrections Completed

Facility leaders said they have worked to correct all issues cited by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). They now claim the procedure rooms are ready for reinspection.
