NC police: Woman accused of operating unlicensed care center where man vanished

A Greensboro woman was arrested Friday, accused of operating an unlicensed care facility where a 74-year-old man vanished in July.

“After extensive search efforts,” Larry Darnell Burton is still missing, police said. He was last seen around 10:30 p.m. July 2 and was reported missing the next day, according to a police statement.

Hazel Mae Forman, 50, was charged by warrant based on a North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services investigation, according to a police statement. She is free on a $10,000 bond.
