GREENSBORO, N.C. — This. Is. Personal. The scammers called my mom today, and that same scammer could be ringing your mom’s or grandma’s phone next.
“I picked it up and she said, Is this Jane? And I said, Yes, and who is this? And she said, Well, I wanted to know if you got your Medicare card. And I said, I have a Medicare card and she said, Well, some of the Medicare cards are not working,” said Jane, a Medicare consumer.
My mom’s Medicare card and all the other Medicare cards out there are working just fine. There is nothing wrong with the cards or the numbers– so don’t be fooled…
