Teenage boy shot by family member in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating after a teenage boy was shot on Tuesday morning.

At around 9:28 a.m. on Tuesday, officers came to the 100 block of Charleston Court after getting a report of a shooting.

Investigators say that a teenage boy was shot at an apartment on Charleston Court and then went across the street to Forsyth Technical Community College’s campus to call the police. The boy was shot by a family member and the family member was found at the apartment by police…
