Officially this is all the SBI has said: “The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is investigating a case involving Sheriff Sam Page. The details of that case are not being released at this time.”
Notice that word involving. The SBI didn’t say Page is the target of the investigation. Only that the case somehow involves him…
