Virginia man arrested after deputies find drugs during Burlington traffic stop: Deputies

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A Virginia man was arrested early Tuesday after Alamance County deputies found suspected cocaine and methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Burlington, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded around 3:37 a.m. Oct. 7 to reports of a possible impaired driver near South Church Street and University Drive, deputies said. They located a vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop after noticing it being driven with high beams on.

Deputies said the driver, identified as 27-year-old Issac Steven Reynolds of Spencer, Virginia, had a rolled-up dollar bill containing a white powdery substance. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine…
