High Point Fire Station 13 back in service after temporary closure

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Engine Company 13 and Rescue Company 1, assigned to Fire Station 13 on Ambassador Court, are back in service after a temporary closure Saturday, according to aFacebook post from the High Point Firefighters Association.

The closure was “due to insufficient manpower on duty to accommodate sick leave” and no one is available to cover for them.

Our commitment remains strong: we continue to advocate for the staffing levels necessary to cover vacation, sick leave, and training leave, while ensuring every apparatus in the City of High Point is properly staffed to protect our citizens.
