Siler City man faces multiple felony drug charges after sheriff’s raid

Siler City, NC – A Siler City man faces multiple felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant last week by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

On October 14, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the Criminal Investigations Division, executed a search warrant at 135 Bradford Rogers Lane in Siler City. During the search of the residence and nearby outbuildings, investigators seized approximately 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine, 84 dosage units of Suboxone, 13 tablets of Oxycodone, and various items of drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, 58-year-old Daniel Everwine III of 135 Bradford Rogers Lane, Siler City, was arrested and charged with felony trafficking in methamphetamine; two counts of felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance; felony maintaining a dwelling place for controlled substances; and felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce; misdemeanor simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance; misdemeanor simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia…
