Greensboro, NC – Residents in Guilford County have an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired medications this weekend. The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office will host a community Medicine Drop-Off event on Saturday, October 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the event will take place at 400 W. Washington Street in Greensboro, where residents can anonymously drop off unwanted or expired pill-form medications for proper disposal. The collection is part of a countywide effort to reduce prescription drug misuse and keep harmful substances out of local waterways and homes.
