Doorway Project Temporary Shelter Relocating to Pomona Park This October

The City of Greensboro will move its Doorway Project, a temporary shelter for people experiencing homelessness, from the former Regency Inn site to Pomona Park at 3912 Clifton Rd. The relocation is planned for the last week of October 2025. The new site will have 30 pallet homes and five RV trailers for residents.

The Doorway Project began in December 2022. It is a temporary shelter community in North Carolina. The City’s Community Safety Department funds and manages the project.
