RAMSEUR, N.C. (WBTV) – A man was accused of stealing and selling cows under a fake name in North Carolina this month.
An arrest warrant alleged that the man — 44-year-old Zachary Banks Todd — stole three calves from a farm on Royal Ridge Road in Randolph County on Oct. 17.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said that after Todd took the cows, he went over into neighboring Chatham County and sold them. An arrest warrant revealed the calves were sold for just under $5,500 at the Carolina Stockyard…
