GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A crash is causing delays on Interstate 40 East on Thursday morning, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The crash took place between Mile Marker 222 and Mile Marker 221 near Exit 221 for South Elm-Eugene Street.
The right lane of the highway is closed as a result of the crash.
Traffic camera footage shows around two miles of substantial traffic congestion as a result of the crash.
There is no word as to what caused the crash or the status of anyone involved at this time…
