NORTH CAROLINA — A High Point woman has been charged in connection with the death of her 13-year-old daughter earlier this month, according to the High Point Police Department.
Officers said they responded to a welfare check at a home on East Farris Avenue on Oct. 13, where they found a 13-year-old girl deceased inside the residence. A 13-year-old boy was also found in the home.
