BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — An apartment fire in Burlington caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage on Thursday night, according to the Burlington Fire Department.
At around 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, firefighters came to the 1300 block of Beaumont Court after getting a report of a fire at an apartment.
Crews arrived at the scene two minutes later and found heavy smoke coming out of the entrance to the apartment unit. The unit was searched to make sure everyone made it out before beginning fire suppression activities…
