Tiffany Oliva Appointed Assistant City Manager, Will Oversee Key Greensboro Services

Tiffany Oliva has been named Assistant City Manager for the City of Greensboro. Her appointment will take effect on November 12, 2025. City Manager Nathaniel Davis announced the decision. He noted Oliva’s experience in city and county government, including her recent work in Brookline, Massachusetts. Oliva managed $150 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds for Winston-Salem and Guilford County during the pandemic. These funds supported housing, public health, and infrastructure projects.

In her new role, Oliva will oversee departments such as Engineering & Inspections, Planning, Solid Waste & Recycling, Transportation, and Water Resources. She said she is grateful for the chance to return to Greensboro and contribute to the city’s development.

Oliva has served on Governor Roy Cooper’s Advisory Council on Hispanic/Latino Affairs. She was recognized by the Triad Business Journal and is a graduate of the Greensboro City Academy. She holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is pursuing doctoral studies at NC A&T State University…
