On February 27, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office stopped James Lacy McCormick, Jr., age 40, in Archdale, North Carolina. Deputies found he was driving with a suspended license while on probation. They also found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a search.
After an investigation, McCormick was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor driving while license revoked. He was arrested in Rockingham County on November 11, 2025. He is being held at the Rockingham County Detention Center on a $2,500 secured bond.
