High of 65 on Monday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — After a very chilly start to the day, we will be able to enjoy highs in the mid-60s today.  Morning skies will stay clear, then scattered clouds are expected by this afternoon.

Overnight, clouds thicken up and temperatures will stay mild, in the mid-40s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be two of our busiest days of the week with Thanksgiving grocery shopping and travel plans. We will have cloudy skies on Tuesday with a 25% chance of showers by afternoon. Highs will return to the mid-60s, but a warm front is going to come through in the evening, offering an unseasonal warm-up for Wednesday.  Tuesday night, there is a 70% chance of rain and some of those showers will linger into the morning hours on Wednesday, when the chance of rain is 40%.  Approaching double-barrel cold fronts will push highs to near 70° on Wednesday afternoon, and skies are going to clear nicely late in the day…
