The City of Greensboro is accepting applications for its 21st annual City Academy. This is a free public education program designed to promote civic leadership and community involvement. Applications are open until December 30, 2025. The program is available to residents who live within Greensboro’s corporate limits.
City Academy provides information about local government operations. Participants take part in activities and tours of facilities, including the Greensboro Police Department’s firing range, the Guilford Metro 911 Center, and the city’s water treatment facility.
