On October 28, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of vehicle theft on Troy Caveness Road in Ramseur, North Carolina. After investigating, authorities identified Leslie Ann Moore Pugh, 36, and James William Kindley, 40, as suspects. Both were charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
Pugh was already in custody at the Randolph County Detention Center. She was served a warrant on November 5, 2025, and denied bond due to other pending charges.
