The City of Greensboro will open a White Flag warming center at First Baptist Church, 1000 W. Friendly Ave., on Sunday, November 30. The center will open at 8 p.m. Sunday and close at 8 a.m. Monday, December 1. It will provide shelter for people affected by cold weather.
The Community Safety Department will staff the center. Staff will help people who need extra support and connect them to services.
