Freezing fog possible overnight Saturday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Areas of patchy fog are possible overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. Temperatures will be falling into the upper 20s which would mean the potential for areas of freezing fog as well. Watch for slick spots on bridges/overpasses.

We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday and afternoon highs reach the upper 40s. Mostly cloudy skies return Sunday night into Monday.

Monday’s temperatures will fall throughout the day which means we’ll see our “high temperature” in the morning and our “low temperature” at the end of the day. We’ll start the morning in the upper 30s with temperatures falling below freezing by the evening. We’re also looking at our next chance to see some rain/snow showers on Monday. Right now, the chance looks low because the amount of moisture available looks to be fairly low.
