RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – For those who didn’t see any snow on Friday morning, they will have another chance early next week.
A round of light snow could be on the way on Monday.
Less than a week after seeing some flurries across extremely northern parts of central North Carolina, another system will try to tap into cold air and produce some wintry weather to kick off the week.
Models are in good agreement that there will be cold air and some moisture in place. The question is just how much moisture and, therefore, how far south any snow/sleet could get?
One trend worth watching is that the GFS and EURO models suggest light accumulations this time around, unlike Friday’s event, where no organized accumulations were projected…
