“Officer, That $330,000 In Cash Was Just Walking Around Money – I Swear.”

The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday, Dec. 7 that a narcotics investigation ended with a major bust that turned up drugs, cash and guns at a north Greensboro address.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, Nov. 6, the Guilford County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 406 Fairmile Drive in Greensboro. That is off of North Church Street, north of Woods of Terror.

The search turned up:

  • 138 grams of cocaine
  • 4,523 grams of marijuana
  • $328,380 in US currency
  • 8 firearms – 4 of which were reported stolen

At the conclusion of the investigation, 34-year-old Jaquan Mondrian Hampton was charged with:

  • Felony Trafficking Cocaine
  • Felony Possession With Intent To Sell Or Deliver Marijuana
  • Possession with intent to sell of deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances
  • Maintain A Dwelling/Vehicle For Controlled Substances
  • Possession Of A Stolen Firearm

The Sheriff’s Office stated that Hampton received a $250,000 secured bond and “has since been released” from the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro…
