On December 5, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary on Hwy 64 East in Ramseur. The investigation resulted in charges against Dominick Lynn Sloan, 39, and Jody Alanna Hayes, 31. The charges include possession of stolen property and larceny. Evidence was collected at the scene. Some stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim.
