GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Piggly Wiggly set to open on Freeman Mill Road in Greensboro has received its building permit, the developer told WFMY News 2.
The long-awaited, fan favorite grocery store was originally set to open by Thanksgiving, the developer told WFMY News 2. However, Thanksgiving came and went and the grocery store did not open.
While the grocery store does not yet have an opening date, the developer said they are planning to open “soon”. The developer said not having that permit was the main factor causing the delay…
