Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education candidates call for action after fatal stabbing

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Two Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education candidates are calling for action following the fatal stabbing at North Forsyth High School on Tuesday.

One student died after an altercation between two students. Now, candidates from both sides of the aisle are coming together.

Their common goal is to improve the safety of children attending schools in the district. They say that while they might not hold a position on the board of education, they want to hear from parents, teachers and faculty from across the district to hear their opinion on what needs to change…
