Major Drug and Firearms Bust on Summit Avenue Leads to Three Arrests, Police Say

Greensboro, N.C. – A large pre-dawn operation on Summit Avenue resulted in three arrests and the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Authorities said officers and SWAT teams executed warrants in the 1500 block of Summit Avenue and the 4700 block of Oremba Circle early Wednesday morning, uncovering a substantial narcotics operation involving cocaine, fentanyl, and multiple guns. Police also noted that several juveniles were inside the home during the raid.

Overview of the Early-Morning Operation

Investigators reported that the coordinated entry was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation targeting distribution activity in the area. Officers recovered more than 15 ounces of cocaine, 2.5 ounces of fentanyl, cash, and five firearms, including one confirmed stolen weapon.

Captain Flowers of the Narcotics Investigation Unit said juveniles were present when officers entered, adding that no one was injured during the operation.
