Driver accused of crashing into multiple Winston-Salem police cars while impaired

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is facing multiple charges after he crashed into several Winston-Salem Police Department patrol cars, according to the WSPD.

On Thursday at 9:47 p.m., three officers were investigating a crash in the 5900 block of Silas Creek Parkway with their patrol cars positioned partially in the righthand northbound lane and partially on the shoulder. All three officers were inside their marked patrol cars with emergency lights activated.

Kenneth Devon White, 48, was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry northbound on Silas Creek Parkway when he failed to move over for the patrol cars, striking all three of them. The impact caused one of the patrol cars to leave the roadway, and it disabled White’s car…
