Stabbing at North Forsyth High School was accidental, self-defense; 18-year-old attempted to wrestle knife from deceased

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Law enforcement offered new details after a deadly stabbing at North Forsyth High School earlier this week.

On Tuesday, North Forsyth High School operated on a two-hour delay, beginning the day at 10:55 a.m. Less than 10 minutes later, at 11:04 a.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the school resource officer, who told them “he needed all hands on deck.”
