A child headed to school suffered serious injuries when struck by a passing pickup, according to investigators in North Carolina.
The collision happened around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, along the 3100 block of Triangle Lake Road in High Point, police said in a news release.
“Officers located an 8-year-old child who was struck by a small pickup truck while on the roadway. The child was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, and is currently in stable condition,” police said…
