ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The North Carolina Zoo is mourning the loss of an iconic resident who has lived at the facility since nearly the beginning.
The North Carolina Zoo announced on Monday that C’sar, a 51-year-old African bull elephant, and the oldest bull elephant living in the United States, had passed away on Dec. 19, “under the attentive care of a dedicated team of experts.”…
