Homicide investigation underway after man suspected of breaking and entering dies, Greensboro police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are investigating a man’s death as a homicide.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, they responded to a burglary call at a residence on Randleman Road.

At the scene, they found Shawn Oxendine, 50, with blunt force injuries to the head and he was taken to the hospital. Oxendine was not a resident of the home where he was found and subsequently, warrants for felony breaking and entering with intent to terrorize were issued for him…
