REIDSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — This Christmas will mark the 10th that one Rockingham County family will spend without Calvin Jerome “C.J.” Simpson II since he was killed on Christmas Eve in 2016.
Simpson was at home at 159 Northfork Drive when there was a knock at the door at about 3:40 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2016. When Simpson answered the door, he was shot in the doorway, according to the sheriff’s office. Other people were also at the home at the time of the shooting…
