Greensboro Police Department remembers Officer Michael Horan on anniversary of death

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — It’s been one year since a Greensboro police officer was shot and killed inside a Food Lion.

Michael Horan, 44, was shot and killed on Dec. 23, 2024, while responding to reports of an armed person inside the Food Lion off of Lawndale Avenue in Greensboro.
