GREENSBORO, N.C. — It’s almost time to let the wrapping paper fly, but there’s something that can really drag down a gift-giving session, and it’s the number one forgotten item on the holiday to-do list.
“One of the easiest things to forget is to have everything charged up that might be rechargeable, so it’s ready to play right out of the box. If it’s not rechargeable, then obviously you have batteries handy and the right size of batteries. This way, you’re not searching through drawers trying to figure out where they are and what size they are, and the kids are impatiently waiting,” said Marc Holcomb, Toys & Co, Friendly Shops in Greensboro.
Waiting for a Christmas gift to charge so you can use it is worse than waiting on Santa on Christmas Eve! Not having the batteries needed to make the toy work is excruciating for a kid…
