WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 56-year-old woman who has a cognitive impairment and was last seen walking in Winston-Salem.
Maria Gonzalez, a Hispanic female, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. walking in the area of West Clemmonsville Road near Southdale Avenue, police said. She is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
Gonzalez was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, gray Champion-brand sweatpants and a green bandana at the time she was last seen. Police said she may be walking with a significant limp or moving abnormally slowly…
