An unseasonably warm air mass remains in place for Christmas Day with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and a mix of clouds. Spotty rain is possible overnight and early Thursday. Skies will be cloudy with cooler temperatures on Friday. While a few showers can’t be ruled out, most will end up dry. This will be a brief cooldown before warmer temperatures rebound for Saturday and most of Sunday. A strong cold front will move in late Sunday, and scattered showers are possible late Sunday night and early Monday. The arctic air will gradually spill in through the first half of the workweek.
