Alamance County teen dies in crash, troopers say

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A teenager was killed in a crash over the weekend in the Piedmont Triad, according to officials.

Troopers say that the crash happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday on Gibsonville Ossipee Road in Alamance County. Eamon Hipps lost control of his car, which went off the road and rolled into a tree.

Hipps was the only one in the car, and he did not survive the crash. He was wearing his seatbelt, but speed is believed to have been a factor. The crash is under investigation…
