Raw milk spilled after tanker truck crashes in Winston-Salem | Driver injured

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A tanker truck carrying raw milk crashed in Winston-Salem on Wednesday, spilling its contents just off of Germanton Road near US 74, according to the Forsyth County Fire Department.

Both the Forsyth County Fire Department and Winston-Salem Fire Department responded to the scene to deal with the “hazardous material spill.” Photos shared by the Winston-Salem Fire Department show the tanker truck rolled over on its side in a grassy area off the road.

The driver of the tanker truck carrying the milk was injured, officials said. The extent of the injuries is not clear at this time…
