Police searching for suspect vehicle in New Year’s Day hit-and-run with injuries on US 29/I-40 in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Greensboro Police Department is seeking public assistance in finding the suspect vehicle in a New Year’s Day hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian.

At around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers came to the area of US 29 South and Interstate 40 West and found a man who had been struck by a vehicle that had left the scene of the crash.

The man was taken to a local hospital and suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash…
