Faith Presbyterian, located at 6309 West Friendly Avenue, was built in the 1950s. Faith Presbyterian was established to meet the spiritual needs of a part of town experiencing a lot of growth at that time. The church is located between Guilford College and PTI airport. The above photo is of the Friendly Avenue side of the church.
We had a chance to walk the property and it has so much character. There is a community garden where produce grown. Underneath a large, mature pine, a prayer path (labyrinth) has been built. It was dedicated in 2002 in remembrance of Mary Ann Chance. The church also has a large playground.
