ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A high-speed vehicle pursuit that reached speeds of up to 120 mph ended Monday evening in Rockingham County, resulting in one person in custody and two detained, authorities said.
Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page said the pursuit began in Guilford County and involved the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The chase ended near the U.S. 29 bypass in Reidsville, where Rockingham County sheriff’s deputies assisted.
Page said one person was taken into custody and two others were detained at the scene. It was not immediately clear Monday night whether the two individuals detained would face criminal charges…
