Former NC teacher charged with cyberstalking student, court records show

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A former teacher was charged after being accused of stalking and cyberbullying a student.

According to court documents, James Gregory Allen, 53, was charged with misdemeanor stalking and misdemeanor cyberstalking at the end of December. He is accused of creating an anonymous social media account to privately message a student.

The alleged harassment took place in November of 2025. The school district confirmed that Allen worked as a math teacher at Trinity High School from October 2013 until November of 2025, when the accusations against him were made…
