GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Guilford County road is set to close beginning Jan. 12 as transportation officials replace a 68-year-old bridge.
The Department of Transportation says it will begin construction on the Scalesville Road bridge that sits over the Haw River. Originally built in 1957, the bridge will be replaced with a newer, safer bridge that meets infrastructure standards.
